Digit216 and I rocked a really nutso set of hyper-destructed breakcore plus full-on chaotic noise. The result came out as a twisted amalgam of both our sounds. A special event, and you can revel in the mayhem. Get it!

Xrin Arms, sadly, won’t be able to make it up to NYC due to some rough times out on tour, so the GBM show is cancelled, and there will be only 4 bands at this show at Port d’Or. Still mad freshness guaranteed, though. Pour one out on the curb for XA, though.

Sorry to flip the script at the last minute, but Sunday’s show has been moved to Silent Barn instead of Party Expo. Speak Onion vs. Digit216 battle set was deemed too dangerous for a “party” space, and we had to move the show for insurace reasons. There will still be plenty of pounding beats, and full on bass bL00r, but just in a different place. Silent Barn is, of course, well suited to handle the mayhem.

YES! I’m playing at a rad place with some of my favorite old friends and some awesome new friends. This will be a bonkers night for sure. From the Free Techno of David B. I’ll be bringing the drum’n'noise furor to Goodbye Blue Monday this coming weekend for the ExperiMENTAL Fest. It’ll be the Sunday afternoon, Noise BBQ portion of the fest, so that rules. I think I’ll even be playing outside. There’s a lot of other cool acts on the bill as well, including long-time home-girl, Joy Through Noise. New beats and bonks, some sunshine and intense volume. Sounds like a plan, right?

Holy hell am I excited about this show. Realicide and DJ Tacopunch are bringing the crazed electronic hardness from out of town, and of course we’ve got local industrial noise genius, Insect Deli, lighting the place up as well. That would be enough to make this show worth attending, but Digit216 and I are doing a BATTLE SET of breaks, noise, and general clusterfuckery to top it all off.

Digit216 and Speak Onion have shared a lot of bills before, and we’ve always enjoyed and respected each other’s music, so we decided to step it up a notch and play together/against each other. Who will be victorious? Everyone who’s there to see NYC’s 2 most devestating breakcore artists collide, that’s who. Don’t sleep on this.

Tonight, I’m in Chicago!

Since I’ll be doing my Midwest mini-tour this weekend and next week, this will be a sweet preview show for my hometown people. NYC is my place, so even if I go elsewhere, there’s still love for my home. You know I’ll be filling the room with hometown love on Wednesday. See yous there!

Cry of the Peacocks was really awesome holding down the squelch for like 90 minutes (made me feel like a bitch for only doing half an hour, ha!), and then I came on to do my thing. I had worked up a new and more abstract and not completely over-the-top set like I usually do for this event, and I think it went well.

This is going to be an extra awesome show. I’m fixing to play a bit of a different set than I usually do given the more artsy/experimental nature of the event. I’m going to focus on abstract weirdness rather than sheer fucking power. I mean, there will be plenty of bL00r, don’t worry about that, I’ve not gone totally soft, but there will probably be less beats kicking you in the face and more synthesizers melting down. Plus the whole outdoor rooftop thing is way cool. I’ve included a picture of the view from a roof in Greenpoint at night. This is purely a (p)re-enactment, I make no guarantees of scenic-ness.
